A look at everything going on in the world of Replit.
That’s how Replit’s Matt describes putting stuff on the internet… which we’re all doing a lot more now, thanks to vibe coding.
But it doesn’t always go well.
Story time:
A few days ago, after I launched my vibe coded web app “Agency Hunt” , some anon hacker hacked into my db and deleted the records
It was a gut punch but I took it as a challenge to fix the mistakes in code (API keys were exploded in the client end which I didn’t

The good thing about Replit is that it handles the environment build when you create a project, which checks off all the low-security fruit.
And the stuff it doesn’t handle out of the box - you can ask Agent to do.
Test and Commit or Revert
That’s Matt’s vibe coding strategy adapted from this blog post. It’s a solid defence against going round in circles with Agent, which happens to the best of us.
The first search engine for leads
Leadsforge is the very first search engine for leads. With a chat-like, easy interface, getting new leads is as easy as texting a friend! Just describe your ideal customer in the chat - industry, role, location, or other specific criteria - and our AI-powered search engine will instantly find and verify the best leads for you. No more guesswork, just results. Your lead lists will be ready in minutes!
Replit vs Cursor
While not exactly competing, Replit has a chance to peel off some Cursor users with just a few extras.
replit needs;
- model picker
- better solution for docs & web search
- modes (like cursor)
- rulesthe agent is great but i think having more control on how it behaves, its model, what its doing/changing etc would be better - it feels abstracted too much sometimes

Speaking of making money, you could also try this.

put it on the app store
repeat
cooked for an hour in @Replit and made this functional trip logging app with @niconley

Or this.
If all I had was $50, and I had to make money quickly, this is what I would do…
1. Open Google maps and search some high end services like CPA, real estate, auto detailer, etc
2. Find the one who has the ugliest website.
3. Open the Replit app and give it this prompt:
Build

Who’s building what?
I always keep an eye on X to see what people are building with Replit.
This week, Amjad demoed the solve your own problems capabilities of Agent by building a YouTube video downloader.
It’s not hosted, but you can use the remix feature to create your own version.
Every YouTube downloader out there sucks, so I built one on Replit that can download in different resolutions and file types. More info 👇

I also think this is cool. And a great example of how much better Agent has got at design.
My daughters were struggling to learn the names of music notes so I built this music flashcards app for them in @Replit.
Have someone in your life trying to learn music? Check it out.

Meanwhile, Reid Hoffman is about to slash his engineering bill.
Finally, don’t drive and code! (get Agent do it for you)
Would love to make a Tesla app where users can talk to @grok while driving which prompts the @Replit agent for them to build software in the background.
@Tesla — who should we talk to?
