Replit acquires its first company
Agent gets connected. Plus: Stripe integration made easy, migrating from Vercel to Replit, Amjad talks Replit history, another live session incoming and a look at which apps companies are paying for (hint: Replit). Everything going on in the world of Replit.
The big news from Replit is that they’ve acquired OpenInt, so they can work together on Connectors.
Now it’s easier to connect Agent with the other tools in your ecosystem. No more messing around with API docs and repeated auth.
Celebrating a new company milestone… and new infrastructure capability.

No more churning on an app idea just because you can’t be bothered to dig out an API key.
Since I joined @Replit this spring it has been my personal mission to make it easy for Agent to connect to and build with all my favorite apps.
I’ll admit I that as a user of Replit I have churned many times from building apps I was excited about simply because I was too lazy

Firecrawl + Coinbase x402
Coinbase’s x402 protocol allows people to build apps that charge users on a pure micropayments basis with stablecoins from a wallet.
Firecrawl is a great API for searching and scraping the web.
They teamed up to show this combination in action - and used Replit to build a quick demo.
To highlight the new @firecrawl_dev v2 API integrations for x402, @Must_be_Ash built a demo app on @Replit showing how teams can build agents that can autonomously retrieve data from the web using a wallet with stablecoin payments.

Finally, snake on COBOL?
Why not!
One of the more fun things about Replit is that it can run *any* language.
