Replit acquires its first company

Agent gets connected. Plus: Stripe integration made easy, migrating from Vercel to Replit, Amjad talks Replit history, another live session incoming and a look at which apps companies are paying for (hint: Replit). Everything going on in the world of Replit.

The big news from Replit is that they’ve acquired OpenInt, so they can work together on Connectors.

Now it’s easier to connect Agent with the other tools in your ecosystem. No more messing around with API docs and repeated auth.

No more churning on an app idea just because you can’t be bothered to dig out an API key.

Integrating Stripe into any app can be a pain - so Replit have gone and baked it right into Agent’s flow, so you can add checkouts and subscriptions just by asking.

Migrate from Vercel and Replit will fund it.

For people moving off Vercel, Replit have been working hard to give them a soft landing.

They’ve made it super easy to move.

Build with Manny

Later today, Replit will be hosting another Agent live build session, this time with @MannyBernabe exploring how to use Replit Connectors.

There’s also a podcast if you want to listen.

Follow the money

Speaking of which, VC firm A16Z teamed up with neobank Mercury to track which tools companies are spending on, and Replit comes in at #3. Nice.

Firecrawl + Coinbase x402

Coinbase’s x402 protocol allows people to build apps that charge users on a pure micropayments basis with stablecoins from a wallet.

Firecrawl is a great API for searching and scraping the web.

They teamed up to show this combination in action - and used Replit to build a quick demo.
