Replit responds
Autonomy levels come to Agent. Plus Agent building agents, native mobile apps, better prompts, meetups in India, and student discounts available. Everything going on in the world of Replit.
Agent 3 dropped with a lot of fanfare, and community feedback was intense.
Lots of excited users, but also some valid feedback - Agent 3 can get too autonomous and run away with itself, making changes that aren’t wanted or needed (especially to legacy code bases) and, in turn, get quite expensive.
The team were quick to introduce an autonomy mode selector to address this.
You asked for more control. We immediately went back to the whiteboard and created 4 different autonomy levels for Agent 3.
Depending on what you are building, pick and choose whatever makes you the most productive.

And they’ve addressed feedback on Reddit and Discourse (go join both communities if you haven’t already).
Typing is a thing of the past.
Typeless turns your raw, unfiltered voice into beautifully polished writing - in real time.
It works like magic, feels like cheating, and allows your thoughts to flow more freely than ever before.
Your voice is your strength. Typeless turns it into a superpower.
Agents… building agents?!
Yes! It was a little buried during the launch, but Agent can now build agents and automated workflows (think Zapier).
Matt’s here with a tutorial to show you how that works with a daily news digest email.
And watch community member Manny build one for live, for research paper summaries.
This is wild! I used an AI agent to build another AI agent last week. 🤯
Been exploring Replit's new Agents & Automations builds that shipped with Agent 3 and built two useful tools:
🔬 Automation: Pulls new papers from arXiv (research database) and sends simplified summaries

Know any Replit newbies?
Vic is looking to do some user interviews with people who have not yet used Replit.
Anyone who has never tried using @Replit before open to doing a quick 30 minute user interview with me?
Especially if you are not an engineer, I would love to chat i.e. Designers, PMs, Product Marketers!
You will be rewarded with a gift card, but if you're in San Francisco
