The future is about actually doing stuff
A look at everything going on in the world of Replit.
NEW: Replit founding data scientist and engineer @giansegato: “I’ve begun to see product managers developing business financial models; designers writing commercial ads; barbershops building custom booking systems; and restaurant owners creating advanced pricing tools... These

I’m not convinced that someone is going to launch a vibe-coded billion-dollar business any time soon - but I’m certain we’re going to see a bunch of industry incumbents KOed by small-team competitors.
In an era where you can build anything, knowing what’s worth building is the bigger problem.
Shipping something real
Most complaints I hear about Replit and other AI tools are that they can’t handle production-ready apps.
Skill issue… watch Greg Isenberg, Billy Howell, and Nic Conley spend an hour building ‘Invoice Nudger’ (the $30k/m bit is bait though tbh…)
You can also take a bit longer if you want.
38 days from first prompt in @Replit to live SaaS. Start today, and by the end of May you could have some software you own.

And, remember the “if all I had was $50…” tweet from last time? Here’s the followup interview with Justin Brooke.

Following the rules
It might feel like vibe coding is about winging it, but actually there’s some skill involved. Matt breaks it down.
But if you do mess it up…
… Replit has you covered with rollbacks. A handy feature I don’t see in some of the other builders.

Replit support steps up
I hear people saying that Replit support can be slow, which isn’t great, but it seems on X at least, they’re locking in.

Replit Auth comes out of beta
Agent still isn’t good at doing auth/login integration for other providers, so it’s pretty handy that Replit has its own option.
Just note that it signs people up for a (free) Replit account when they use it.
Auth is now available to all. Ask the Agent to "add Replit Auth authentication," and give your app a login experience with a plethora of social providers, email/password/forgot password, user management, and email lists all with zero setup. Let me know how it is!

Built by a member of the Replit Builders Slack community, CreateMVP turns your vague ideas into solid implementation plans you can feed back to Replit (or any other tool).
It’s true tbh…
